It depends almost entirely on distance, because a local 3-bed move and a cross-country 3-bed move are two very different jobs. What is the cheapest day or time to move?

Mid-week and mid-month tend to be quieter than Fridays and the end of the month, and less demand often means more flexibility on price and dates. Fridays and month-end are the busiest windows, because so many completions land there.
